Payment Options:

We accept all Visa, MasterCard credit and debit cards. We support Indian and International cards as well. Customers will need to key in their 16-digit credit/debit card number and the 3 digit CVV Code (Card Verification Value - found at the back of the card) in order to complete the payment flow. 

All credit/debit card details that you enter are done on the HDFC payment gateway page and not on the Brass Tacks site. These details remain secure and private. Brass Tacks and our trusted payment gateways use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology to protect your card information.

In case of payment failure, please make another attempt while keeping the following in mind:

  1. Ensure your information entered on the payment gateway is accurate i.e. card details, date of birth, net-banking password, etc.
  2. Ensure that your internet connection is not disrupted in the process. 

If your account has been debited after a failed payment transaction, the amount will be credited back to your account by your bank. This typically takes less than 3 working days. You can get in touch with our Customer Care with your order number or email us at for any clarifications.


Brass Tacks has an account with Aramex and FedEx and they handle all our shipping. We deliver to all places that are covered by Aramex or FedEx in India. When you type in your shipping address on our site, you will be informed in case your pin code is not in the list of serviced areas by our courier partners.

For all shipments within India, we take care of the shipping fees. We also organize returns (for free), which makes your online shopping experience risk-free!

For all international shipments we use the Government Registered Post. It's not speedy (takes 10 days to reach the US), but it is reliable. We've sent packages to Europe, US, Canada and as far as Swaziland. If you'd rather pay using a PayPal invoice instead of using your credit card, contact us with your order details at

Please follow the guidelines on the Return and Exchange Policy page for sending shipments back. If you live in India, we take care of the pick-up and return shipment.

When you order on our site, shipments are sent out within 2 working days. Once a shipment is dispatched, we will ensure that the product gets delivered between 3-7 working days for domestic packages, and 2 - 3 weeks for international packages, depending on your location. We will send you an email with your order tracking information once your order is dispatched.
